THIS SYSTEM HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A VERY LONG TIME. AND IT WORKED QUITE WELL FOR A VERY LONG TIME. BUT IT HASN’T KEPT UP WITH THE CHANGES NECESSARY TO GET KIDS READY FOR LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL IN THE 21ST CENTURY. WHILE PEOPLE TALK ABOUT WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE ALL THE TIME, VERY LITTLE SEEMS TO ACTUALLY CHANGE. DISPIRIT AND HAD IMMORA FAR TOO MANY HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WAGE A DAILY STRUGGLE AGAINST APATHY AND INERTIA. TWO YEARS AGO, XQ RAN A COMPETITION TO CREATE SUPER SCHOOLS ACROSS THE COUNTRY, INVITING EVERYDAY PEOPLE TO COME TOGETHER TO RETHINK AND BUILD NEW MODELS.
