Teachers’ Tips #31 SD Card Playback (MTX/MRX)

SD cards: so much memory is now available in such a small space! Music for days, even weeks can be stored on such devices. And they can be used in Yamaha’s MTX and MRX processors. You can recall a preset, and instantly start playback of an MP3 or WAV file. A single file, or a whole folder. In order, or shuffled. Set a gap between each song if you are using Ambient Noise Compensation. To avoid getting bored of the same songs, create several cards with the same folder names, but different songs on each card. Then the staff can select which card to use each day, before recalling the starting preset! Good music creates good business!
