AND CHARTER SCHOOLS. ATTRACTING TEACHERS. ENID SCHOOL LEADERS NOW OFFERING A TWO THOUSAND DOLLAR SIGNING BONUS. THIS IS THE FIFTH YEAR HARD TO RECRUIT TEACHERS HAVE GOTTEN THE BONUS, THE DISTRICT SAYS THEY PAY THE BONUS WITH LOCAL TAX DOLLARS HAPPENING NOW.>>AT THE END OF THE DAY, NOT EVERYONE WAS HAPPY WITH THE DECISION. AN OUTBURST OF JOY AND RELIEF CAME FROM THE BORDER EDGING — THE CROWD OF SUPPORTERS. AFTER THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION VOTED UNANIMOUSLY TO APPROVE THE ACADEMY OF SEMINOLE. TODAY, THE STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION SAID THE APPLICATION THAT ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS.>>I THINK THAT WHEN A LOCAL SOLUTION COMES FORWARD WITH A VERY IMPORTANT FOCUS ON ADVANCED LEARNING AND HAVING THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP, THAT IS SOMETHING THAT WE KNOW UNDER STATE LAW, THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO APPEAL.>>THE SEMINAL SUPERINTENDENT SAID HE IS DISAPPOINTED IN THE STATE BOARD’S DECISION. THE PLAN IS FOR THE CHARTER SCHOOL TO START CLASSES THIS AUGUST. THEY WILL START WITH 11TH AND 12TH GRADERS.
