ClockWork Student Portal – Scheduling accommodated tests, quizzes and exams

>>Welcome to the
Disability Services’s Online ClockWork Student
Accommodations Portal. This tutorial will cover the
steps for using ClockWork to cement test requests
to the DSS Testing Center. Please have your GRCC
username and password ready. Students without a GRCC
username and password will not be
able to use the ClockWork Student
Accommodations Portal. First, click the “Schedule
a test or exam” icon on the main menu. Next, select “Schedule
a test, midterm or quiz” from the list near
the top of the screen. This will take you
to a login screen where you will use your
GRCC username and password. Remember, this is the
same username and password used to log into your
GRCC Blackboard account. When your login
is successful, the DSS Online Test Request
welcome page is displayed. The DSS Online Test
Request page includes a scheduling
wizard that will take you through the 7-step process for
submitting a new test request. Start the request process by
reviewing the instructions, then clicking the
blue “Next” button at the bottom of
the welcome page. Step 1, select your course
from the drop-down menu, then click the
blue “Next” button. Step 2, enter the
test date and time. This should be the
same date and time the instructor will proctor
the test, quiz, or exam in the classroom. On this page, you will also
enter the class test duration. This is the standard
time allowed to complete the test
in the classroom. Once you’ve entered
this information, click the blue
“Next” button. Step 3, confirm your
instructor information. Please ensure that the
information displayed is correct. If you need to
make any changes, you may type directly
into the textbox. Step 4, select your
accommodations. Use the checkboxes to
identify which accommodations you wish to use during
your testing appointment. Step 5, location and
testing appointment. Use the drop-down menu to
identify your testing location. Next, enter the
date and time that you will complete your
test at your testing location. In most cases, this will
be the same date and time other students will complete
the test in the classroom. However, some students
may need a different time due to factors such as their
extended time accommodation, scheduling conflicts, or
to report to the classroom before or after
the test. On this page, you will
also identify the test, quiz, or
exam number. For example, if this
is your second quiz, you should type,
“Quiz 2.” Step 6, confirm your
testing appointment. A message should display,
indicating that your request has been
confirmed. Review this message,
then click “Next” to continue
scheduling your test. Step 7, finalize and
submit your request. Carefully review
your request before clicking the
blue “Submit” button at the bottom
of the page. This is the end of the
ClockWork Test Request tutorial. If you have any
problems or concerns with the ClockWork Student
Accommodations Portal, please contact the
Disability Services Center at 616-234-4140. If you have questions about
your testing appointment, please contact the DSS Testing
Center at 616-234-3597.
