Notification squad? Anyone? Just me, okay
You guys should take a look at what the guys at Calico LLC are doing. They are determined to reduce and even prevent aging altogether. Easier said than done, but their research seems to hold weight behind the concept of tripling the average lifespan. The biggest problem would have to be with how society and powerful leaders react to the thought of walking into a lab, deciding what age you'll like to be and walking out being an immortal.
That's cell death not division!
So, it's like a recycling plant vs. a land fill, right?
Hi my dear brothers and sisters, I am dentist and just have started a blog in which i am writing concise answers. Please help me improve and go through my blog. Veiw, share, like, subscribe and comment. I ll definately reply to each and every query. Thank you so much already. My blog is http://dentistwebblog.blogspot.de/2017/02/apoptosis-intrinsic-pathway-intrinsic.html
This is a really great vid and very clear and informative. I think the dynamic of David asking questions and making a few observations and Emily answering the question works really well. Hope to see lots more vids like this. Thank you.
the 'blebs' bit was so cute omg
One of the questions asked…The answer is Autophagy. Another way the cell breaks down to reuse it's parts…
10 minute video with minimum relevant information on the process.
terrible waste of time.
i think one person explaining is fine…
I like to think of it as: Necrosis: injured or infected cells are blown up, spewing nasty stuff that can hurt other cells. Apoptosis: ah, it's time to go, let me just neatly pack up my things into little blebs that can be reused.
